Wish Appeal

New Development

Friday 10 Feb 2017

The total in the Wish Appeal now stands at £512,000.00. We have also been given grants for a further £53,000.00 from trusts. With additional fundraising events planned we have decided to apply for planning permission for the next phase.

We have to start building the next phase of development in late Spring. This will be phased, first the flats will be built at the front of the site. A portacabin will be located on site for the administration. Then the new administration facilities will be built. We anticipated that the project will take approximately nine months to complete. This will result in the last of the 1960ís buildings being demolished on site.

We are already considering our next fundraising venture. This will include having a hot tub with changing facilities, showers and toilets. We are also looking at providing an additional flat which can be used for reablement.

We are currently raising funds to improve our independent living flats and administration building. There are currently three independent living flats, which were installed during the first build of the centre. Our aim is to create new purpose built independent flats with communal spaces and modernisation throughout.

Our administration building is currently only accessible by stairs or by lift. We plan to create a new purpose built administration building within the grounds of Lincolnshire House that will be user friendly and accessible by all.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our projects. If you are interested in using the quality services which Lincolnshire House provides please contact Dawn McCool, Administrator on 01724 844168, Ext 221 who will be happy to provide further information.
