Staff Vacancies

Are you interested in working at Lincolnshire House?

Although having a background in care is an advantage we have some staff that have had absolutely no experience in the care sector when they applied for a position at Lincolnshire House.

With the comprehensive training package that we offer, staff are supported throughout their induction period and the support continues when the induction has been completed. All new staff spend the first two weeks shadowing another member of staff so that they get the opportunity to learn the routines and get to know the residents before they are left working alone in the different bungalows. There are other members of staff in the different units and a senior member of staff is on duty for every shift, this ensures that any problems are dealt with immediately and support for all staff is constant.

Staff are offered good rates of pay, four weeks holiday (rising to five weeks after five years) plus bank holidays, and a health scheme is offered after one year. A pension scheme is in operation and Lincolnshire House contributes to this over and above the salaries. All staff are subject to an enhanced CRB check.

Day staff work between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. with no shift longer than eight hours. The shifts are worked out over a seven day rota. The night staff work from 10 p.m. till 7 a.m. and this is also on a seven day rota. Duties include all care needs for the residents as well as cooking meals, accompanying residents on appointments and helping the residents to access leisure facilities.

Staff will become key workers for the residents to ensure there individual needs are always achieved.

Informal enquiries and visits are welcomed. Please contact Sam Cole or Danielle Roach, Administrator on 01724 844168. If there is not a vacancy there may be a possibility that you could become a relief member of staff.
